About me

I am a researcher / creative practitioner working in arts, design and health. My work involves developing and using creative, sensory and embodied research methods. My PhD involved working with people living with dementia and exploring the significance of clothing and textiles in care homes. I currently work on the UKRI funded Sensing Spaces of Healthcare project, led by Dr Victoria Bates. I lead on the creative aspect of the study, working with NHS staff, patients and visitors to explore their sensory experiences within specific hospital environments. I work closely with project partners Fresh Arts, North Bristol NHS Trust and GOSH Arts, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

This site hosts examples of my reflexive creative practice. These pieces are typically created to think through and express ideas, to reflect on particular issues or challenges, and to explore new connections within my research practice.
